Despeauxrados (VS) Hikes Sassafras Mt. to Long Ridge Road
Details
This will be an "Out and Back" and will be our inspection hike for this part of the trail (no tools needed).
We'll start at Sassafras Mt. parking and take the Foothills Trail to Long Ridge Road. Lunch will be at the Petroglyphs or we can stop at Lighthouse Campsite.

This group meets Wed at University Square Shopping Center. The specific hikes are described 1 to 4 weeks in advance and target hikes which are 10 miles long and climb 2000 ft. We hike at approx. 2.5 MPH, faster or slower depending on terrain.
