Despeauxrados (VS) Hikes Green River Game Lands

Hike begins at 9:30 am
This hike is technical at times and we will begin this loop on the Bluff trail, which is no joke. Damage from Helene has left this area looking very different. We will have lunch on the boulders of the Green River and return on the Green River Cove trail back to our cars. Our pace will be slower than 2.5 mph this week due to the steep and/or technical parts of the trails.
*Bug spray is recommended due to the gnats. Lightweight pants might be advisable also. Please note: we will park at the new large lot on the right just over the bridge. (Pictured) not the old lot across from the Bluff trailhead.

This group meets Wed at University Square Shopping Center. The specific hikes are described 1 to 4 weeks in advance and target hikes which are 10 miles long and climb 2000 ft. We hike at approx. 2.5 MPH, faster or slower depending on terrain.
