Despeauxrados (VS) Hikes - Beasley Gap to Cantrell CS - 10.5 M/1800 EG

Starting at Beasley Gap, we'll hike up Horse Mt. to Poplar Hollow Rd. and follow it up to the FHT. We then head to Cantrell CS for lunch. Our route back will be down the FHT to Emory Toll Rd. and into Camp Adger. From there we head to The Rock.

This hike may include a bit of a bushwack and a few wet crossings.

*** DO NOT GO TO THE TRAILHEAD **

The parking at Beasley Gap is very limited (4 cars MAX), so we will meet at The Rock and carpool up to the parking lot.

This group meets Wed at University Square Shopping Center. The specific hikes are described 1 to 4 weeks in advance and target hikes which are 10 miles long and climb 2000 ft. We hike at approx. 2.5 MPH, faster or slower depending on terrain.
