GO: Birmingham Christmas Markets 2025 Farewell
See main event text, GBGO: Birmingham Christmas Markets 2025 Farewell
Again this year, it is at members suggestion that we hold a farewell trip to the Christmas Markets in Birmingham for this year! This outdoor social has been a trademark GO:Heart Of England event for many years. As ever, we've visited this festival at its best midweek, during November, minus the nuisance weekend crowds. But we can go again!
When & Where:
This time, our group will meet early evening 17:15 to 18:00 in The Wellington Inn on Bennett's Hill, so that we are not standing outdoors waiting, and can find each other easily.
Address; 37 Bennett's Hill, Birmingham, B2 5SN
Festival Info: (ok, prior year's bumph)

Updated:
Birmingham Christmas Market – Dates & What’s On In 2024
Cost: None, just what you buy!
What to expect
At 6pm, our group will head off to Cathedral Square (firstly) and Victoria Square (secondly) to explore the Christmas Markets (including the World Fayre Markets, Frankfurt Markets and Local Craft Markets) and enter into the public festivity until 8pm or once everyone has seen enough. Allow plenty of room for cold beer and exotic sausages, or warm mulled ciders and wines. Also bring hat and gloves if the weather justifies.
Plan of action
To minimize the misery of constant text messages and losing people, please be at The Wellington at the start, and keep in touch with the group. We will establish a table as a base near one of the beer/food stands, to which everyone can reunite with the group, after they've queued for food and drinks. Afterwards we can also head back to a warm pub afterwards if people wish to.
Hosting
Assuming this event is well attended, someone will be available to welcome anyone new (or unfamiliar with other faces) else with a small crowd it will be down to members to contact each other.
Withdrawing as late as the day itself or no-showing is considered very impolite and not allowed under group rule for all meetup events, so please avoid at all costs, thanks. see you there!12 attendees
