Route Logistics:
CheckIn: 10:15, to walk promptly within 10-15 minutes or sooner if all visible are ready.
Distance: 10.5 miles (reduceable or extendable if required)
Start Point: Fontburn Reservoir Jetty Car Park, NE61 4PL (w3w=aimed.chainsaw.collide),(Gridref=NZ046940), which is down an entrance lane off the B6342
Drive: 35 minutes by car from Newbiggin Parkdean
Terrain: Hillside, open moorland and valley surrounding a large reservoir, the ascent is gradual.
Refreshments: Bring fluids & picnic lunch, there is no pub stop mid-way

SAFETY: As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.
