GO: St Patrick's Day Party

Details
♫ St Patricks Day Party ♫
GO:Heart of England will once again be enjoying the atmosphere of everything any shade of green and tasting of whiskey or guinness or irish coffee (or real ale). We are famed for our great St Patrick's Day entertainment so hey don't make the mistake of going with anyone else!
UPDATE: NO PARADE THIS YEAR BUT WE CAN STILL HAVE A PARTY!
Our meeting point will be the ANCHOR INN at the junction of Rea Street and Bradford Street, for lunchtime drinks, and from where we are very handily placed to nip outside and see the parade pass, since the Parade Procession route is from 12:00 until 14:00 along Digbeth High Street (if it happens!)

♫ General Itinerary ♫
Please arrive between 11:45 and 12:15. A common arrival time will be important in order ensure this is an inclusive rather than fragmented social occasion, and to ensure you don't miss out.
We recommend that everyone has a good breakfast to remove the requirement of a full midday meal. The area is not noted for doing Sunday lunches in the midst of the festivities. Most of the Arcadian and Chinatown are virtually at a standstill throughout the middle of the day.
Here's to the Craic!
We may switch venues during the day, and may return to the Anchor, or to the nearby Spotted Dog, or we may have a surprise venue in store. And later on, we will scour the streets for some live music!
♫ Meet Point Address ♫
Anchor Inn, 308 Bradford Street, Birmingham, B5 6ET (located at the junction of Rea Street). This pub has several rooms, check all of them, we may even in the courtyard.
To reach this venue without delays due to the crowds along Digbeth, leave Birmingham Centre on foot via Hurst St/Pershore St, approaching the Anchor Inn from Bradford St. Don't plan to drive anywhere around Digbeth, since the area may be rammed or closed to traffic.
♫ Lateness Won't Work ♫.
We advise people against lateness to avoid wasting your day, when later it's noisy, people are merry, and not monitoring phones. Meeting start times at all our events are set for a good reason. Arriving several hours afterwards does not constitute being late, it constitutes a "no show", or a separate event. Again this is just a polite note to avoid disappointment, and/or a fragmented occasion. See you all there!
