Local Walk: Lea Marston and Kingsbury Lake District

Engaging brand new route for our midsummer romp over attractive North Warwickshire lakeland covering an area to the south of where we've previously walked

Logistics:
Meet: 10:15 check-in, to start within 10-15 minutes, or earlier if all visible are ready.
Distance: Around 10 miles
Start Point: Opposite Royal Oak Pub on A51 Tamworth Rd, Kingsbury Village, B78 2AG
Parking: Either use Pear Tree Avenue car park (free sundays, else £3) or spread cars around village sideroads.
Terrain: Several lakes and local countryside, not hilly
Refreshments: Bring fluids & picnic lunch, and also a pub stop during the afternoon.

Safety:
As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.

RSVP Commitment:
Places are not unlimited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is not allowed. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals, and uncommitted waitlisting) so reliable attendees will take priority at future events.
