Local Walk: Habberley Valley & Arley Loop
New route in North Worcestershire, set on the near side of the River Severn valley, not too far from Kidderminster
Logistics:
Meet: 10:00, to start walking at 10:15.
Distance: 12 miles (undulating)
Start Point: Habberley Valley nature reserve, Habberley Road (B4190), Kidderminster, Dy11 5rh
Parking: free, at above location (drive from entrance along track/lane until you see the car park).
Terrain: From Habberley valley we make our way to Arley through Eymore woods onto Arley, then follow the river Seven to Trimpley reservoir where we will have lunch. We then follow the river till we reach the edge of Bewdley, then follow an undulating path back to the start.
Refreshments: Bring fluids & picnic lunch for midway, with pub stop opportunity at end of walk.

As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.

Places are not unlimited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is not polite. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals).
