Local Walk: Habberley Valley & Arley Loop

New route in North Worcestershire, set on the near side of the River Severn valley, not too far from Kidderminster.

** Please note, start point is now Upper Arley, rather than Habberley Valley to allow space for plenty of cars **

Logistics:
Meet: 10:00, to start walking at 10:15.
Distance: 12 miles (undulating)
Start Point: Upper Arley Car Park (on east side of River Severn), DY12 1XA
Parking: Large public car park, only £2 for all-day parking. I think its cash only machine , But entrance indicated by green sign after white railing next to river may be easy to miss (see google earth view)
Refreshments: Bring fluids & picnic lunch, with pub stop opportunity at end of walk.
Terrain: This circular route goes from Habberley valley through Eymore woods onto Arley, then follows the river Seven to Trimpley reservoir. We then follow the river till we reach the edge of Bewdley, then follow an undulating path back to the start. However we will now instead be doing the route by starting at Arley and visiting Habberley Valley for lunch.

Bring: Waterproofs & Refreshments & Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.
No Dogs please due to crossing many fields with livestock

As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.

Places are not unlimited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is not polite. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals).
