CHURCH STRETTON - HOPE BOWDLER - CARDINGTON - CAER CARADOC HILL
This is a fabulous and scenic walk, which ive done before, with views of the green rolling Shropshire hills. The walk starts from Church Stretton heading up to Hope Bowdler Hill and then we will stop half way for lunch at a pub in a pretty village called Cardington. Then making our way up via Caer Caradoc Hill back to Church Stretton. Shropshire is a very popular and scenic walking area. Option of a pub stop after the walk has ended.
Logistics & Summary:
Meet: 10 am for a prompt 10.15am start from CO-OP car park, Church Stretton, SY6 6BQ. There is free parking in the surrounding areas, however the CO-OP car park is a pay and display car park with lots of parking spaces.
Map: SY6 6BQ
Distance: Approx 10 miles.
Terrain: A mixture of well established mainly trails/footpaths, country lanes and a number hills. Mid to strenuous walk.
Food: Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water etc.
Footwear & clothing: Good walking footwear and clothing to match the weather/forecasted by the Met Office.
