Feeling inquisitive, and nothing much else going on over Christmas? Or do you just want to avoid the appalling city centre crowds? How about a visit to Shugborough Hall Stately Home in South Stafordshire then? Free entry to the mansion, though general admission applies.
What's This All About?
Though open 9-4, we suggest arriving 12:30 to explore the beautifully decorated Servants Quarters, where rooms are decorated to tell the story of a traditional Christmas Day. You'll see magical festive displays celebrating food, gift giving, games and family traditions. The Mansion is open on 20th December, and the wider estate is open throughout, including the Brewhouse, the Stables, the Farmhouse, the Walled Garden and more. And maybe a cuppa to finish with.
Booking is not required.
