Local Countryside Walk: In and Around Kinver

Don't miss this splendid route in a previously enjoyed area. Though we're walking in a different direction to last January's hike.

Logistics:
Meet: 10:00 check-in, to start within 5-10 minutes, or earlier if all visible are ready.
Distance: Around 8 to 9 miles (noting reduced daylight)
Start Point: Entry to Kinver Edge at junction of Sandy Lane & Church Lane, just to the south side of Kinver village, nearest postcode DY7 6HU.
Parking: Plenty of roadside parking all along Sandy Lane (free).
Terrain: Mixture of open countryside, woodland, pools, with some hilly pathways, and Kinver Edge itself.
Refreshments: Bring drinks and snacks, as required; we will take a short picnic (own food) and a midway pub stop (not time for ordering meals)

Bring: Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.

As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.

Places are not unlimited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is not allowed. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals, and uncommitted waitlisting) please.
