Local Walk: Hunger Hill and The Ridware Villages

A lovely new route variant, so new scenery, in an area we walked just once before back in 2022, located in South Staffs just to the north of Lichfield

Logistics:
Meet: 10:15 check-in, to start within 10 minutes, or earlier if all visible are ready.
Distance: Around 10 miles
Start Point: Meet outside The Chadwick Arms, School Lane, Hill Ridware, WS15 3QU
Parking: Please spread cars considerately around the village
Terrain: Very gently undulating mixed countryside with various ponds and streams and even some moats

Bring: Waterproofs & Refreshments & Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.

As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety, and must be comfortable walking the specified distance please.
