Let's experience some superb lesser trodden countryside in Shropshire, easily reached just off the A5 by Shrewsbury, and some superb views

Logistics:
Meet: Check-in 10:15 for a prompt start within 10-15 minutes.
Distance: Sturdy distance of 10-12 miles
Start: Lyth Hill Country Park (nearest postcode SY3 0AU). For accuracy, this place has the eye-catching what-3-words reference of [strutting.clubbing.position] or grid reference SJ475059
Parking: At entrance on Lyth Hill Lane, or there is an overflow car park 75 metres into the nature reserve.
Terrain: Typical Shropshire countryside with far-reaching views and inclines in places, but not excessively strenuous.
Transport sharing: Sensible, though the route is under an hour for most of us. Possible meeting points in Great Barr or Walsall perhaps.
Refreshments: Bring picnic lunch, and we will also have a public house refreshment stop just after half distance in a pretty village.
Wear: Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.
Guests: Under 16s and dogs (under control) may attend as guests.

A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety, and must be comfortable walking the specified distance please.
