A nice new route variant, in the general vicinity of Halesowen, Clent and Romsley.

Logistics:
Meet: 10:15 check-in, to start within 10 minutes, or earlier if all visible are ready.
Distance: 8.5 to 9 miles
Start Point: Clent Hills Nimmings Plantation Car Park, Hagley Wood Lane, B62 0NL
Parking: Large popular P&D car park or find a safe space along Hagley Wood Lane itself.
Terrain: Mainly off-road with fairly undulating countryside with a variety of scenery including a nature reserve, church, forest and ponds.

Refreshments: Picnic stop and pub stop after half way (morning stretch is less hilly, but afternoon stretch is shorter).
Bring: Waterproofs & Refreshments & Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.
Guests: Under 16s & dogs (behaved, under control) may be brought.

As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety, and must be comfortable walking the specified distance please.
