# Classic Walk: Groby Pool, Bradgate Park, Cropston Lake.
Exhilarating ramble over the Leicestershire wilds, an area much overdue for a revisit. Less than an hour's drive for most, but car sharing may still be worthwhile.

Meet: Check-in 10:20 for a prompt start within 10 minutes (or earlier, if all in sight are ready).

Refreshments: Bring Picnic Lunch, and short pub stop opportunity at 2/3rds distance
Wear: Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.

Safety:
As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety, and must be comfortable walking the specified distance please.
RSVP Commitment:
Places are not unlimited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is impolite. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals) please.
