Another brand new route in peaceful rolling Worcestershire countryside. Overnight stop possible to combine with Saturday walk (also advertized).

Logistics:
Meet: Check-In 10:20, for prompt start within 10 min, or sooner if those visible are ready.
Distance: Around 9 miles
Start Point: By B4197/B4204 junction opposite Crown pub in Martley (WR6 6PA)
Parking: Please spread cars considerately around the village. There is easy parking around Ryecroft Way (WR6 6BF) for example
Terrain: Mixed rural vistas, including woodland, orchard, meadow, riverside, pretty village of Berrow Green, trraversing stretches of The Geopark Way (national trail)
Refreshments: Picnic stop midway, and pub stop (not for meals).
Bring: Waterproofs & Refreshments & Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.
Guests: Under 16s & dogs (under control) may attend as guests.

Stop Over Option
We also have a nearby walk on Saturday (14 FEB) so you are welcome to attend both and stay overnight in Worcester on Saturday, where we will meet up in the evening. Driving or train travel both days is also fine, as this is not an excessive journey for most of us. Worcester has a Premier Inn, Travelodge, Cottage Rentals, AirBNBs, and hostel available.

As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.

Places are not unlimited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is not allowed. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals).
