Local Walk: Cutnall Green, Rushock Ridge & Chaddesley Woods

Now begins the season when 'Fools' call every ramble a 'bluebell walk', yet omit to name June walks as 'rape walks' (or for that matter January snowdrop walks, March daffodil walks, August blackberry walks). So strange really!

Today is a route variant of an area of North Worcestershire only once previously covered in 2023.. The land is mainly level, and covers a mix of woodland, lakes, farmland, a stretch of The Monarch's Way. And by the way, it's a 'grape-hyacinth' walk!

Logistics
Meet: 10:20 for prompt start within 10 min, or sooner if those visible are ready.
Distance: Around 10 to 11 miles.
Start Point: Outside Lord Morton's Tea Rooms, A442, Cutnall Green, WR9 0PJ (by Chequers Pub)
Parking: Please spread parking around village side roads
Terrain: Our walk route will cover mixed countryside
Refreshments: Bring Picnic Lunch, and we will include a short good pub stop around mid-way. We can also visit The Tea Rooms at the start if early (normally open 10am) or at the end
Bring: Waterproofs & Refreshments & Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.
Guests: Under 16s & dogs (under control) may attend as guests.

As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.
