Local Walk: Berkswell & Meriden loop
We return to previously trodden territory to the east of the west midlands. Relatively level and peaceful unpopulated countryside hopefully not marred by HS2.
And for those tired of late spring walks being advertized as bluebell walks, this is our 3rd grape-hyacinth walk of the season!
Logistics:
Meet: 10:15 check-in, to start within 10 mins, or earlier if all visible are ready.

Start Point: Wooden bus shelter opposite the Bear Inn, using the long roadside parking area alongside Meriden Road, CV7 7BE
Parking: As above, else please park considerately around the village
Terrain: Mixed countryside encircling the Berkswell Hall estate, and farmland to the north.

Safety:
As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety, and must be comfortable walking the specified distance please.
RSVP Commitment:
Places are not unlimited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is impolite. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals, and uncommitted waitlisting).
