This annual event is a member's recommendation spanning a whole weekend in May, opening from 10-4 each day, and we have proposed an opportunity to visit on the bank holiday Saturday.

The Artisan Cheese Fair is the UK’s largest cheese fair with around 50-60 Artisan Cheesemakers from across the UK and Ireland who between them make some 300 cheeses. Other food & drink stands include; wine, spirits, pies, cider, cakes, beer etc. Hot Street Food.
Workshops, Tutored Tastings, Food Theatre and Entertainment.

Direct hourly trains run from Birmingham to Melton Mowbray via Leicester. The 09.22 from New Street (or 08.22 if you prefer), catching the 16:32 return (costing £26) seems the logical option
