Something fun but more laid back for a midweek meet up...
Emerging from the golden age of UK Soul in the early ’90s, Omar is known for such grooves as “Keep Steppin'”, “Say Nothin'”, and of course, the classic “There’s Nothing Like This”Since building a name for himself in this early period, he has gone on to produce critically acclaimed new albums and make regular live performances including supporting the legendary Stevie Wonder at Hyde Park in 2016.As his career has progressed, Omar’s material has become more diverse and varied; incorporating Caribbean rhythms with touches of funk, zouk, jazz and spoken word.
Restaurant & bars open from 6pm. Live Entertainment will begin at 9pm.
We shall meetup from 8pm across the square at Saint Paul's House then move on at around 8.40pm to the Jam House. If you are able to meet at The Jam House that is good too. Both venues have been popular with Go Heart of England members for many years.
