GO: Bowland & Morecambe (Hiking & Seaside), Sat, May 2, 2026, 10:30 AM | Meetup

Route Logistics:
CheckIn: 11:00, to walk 11:15 promptly or sooner if all visible are ready.
Distance: Around 8 miles (adjustable to suit time)
Start Point: Stocks Reservoir Car Park (picnic site at junction of School lane and Holehouse Lane), Bowland, nearest postcode BB7 4TS, WTW=date.screen.restless
Drive: Allow 2.5 hrs plus from West Mids, noting that meet point has actual no postcode.
Refreshments: Bring fluids & picnic lunch, as no pub, and cafe only possible at the end.
Terrain: Forest and open land as we circumnavigate a large reservoir

SAFETY: As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.
DAYTRIPPERS: If attending this walk, but not as part of the group getaway, it is imperative you pass your contact details to the walk leader by 22/12/25 in the (unlikely) scenario that start place/time need to be altered at short notice.
