As inferred by the title, this is a reserve, which may be used on a self-lead basis at any time, or instead of the main longer hill walk planned on this date

Route Logistics:
CheckIn: 10:45, to walk 10:55 promptly or sooner if all visible are ready.
Distance: Around 7 miles (adjustable)
Start Point: Grizedale Bridge Car Park, PR3 1UJ (OS=SD536490)
Refreshments: Bring fluids & picnic lunch, no pub or cafe stop en route.
Terrain: Encircles 3 reservoirs, with some woodland, marshland, valley/dale, and reaching Nicky Nook viewing point (215m)

SAFETY: As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.
DAYTRIPPERS: If attending this walk, but not as part of the group getaway, it is imperative you pass your contact details to the walk leader by 22/12/25 in the (unlikely) scenario that start place/time need to be altered at short notice.
