Rural Walk: South Peaks Hillsides (Derbyshire)

New route encompassing some lesser trodden smaller hills in south derbyshire near Ashbourne, including Wibben Hill and Wigber Low

Logistics:
Meet: 10:20 check-in, to start within 10 minutes, or earlier if all visible are ready.
Distance: Around 10 miles
Start Point: Tissington Village car park, Darfield Lane, DE6 1 RA, about half a mile east off the A515
Terrain: Typical peak district undulating countryside, though not steep. And although we start in Tissington village, coverage of the Tissington trail does not dominate this walk.
Parking: P&D car park or elsewhere in the village.

Bring: Waterproofs & Refreshments & Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.

As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety, and must be comfortable walking the specified distance please.
