Fillongley countryside 6 mile evening walk

Second instalment from a series of summer evening walks with this 6 mile circular around the beautiful village of Fillongley near Meriden encompassing parts of the the North Arden Heritage Trail.

MEET & START POINT: Booted and ready at 18.28 for a prompt 18. 39 start.

We've been permitted to park by owner on condition we have a drink or two after the walk. The Manor House, Coventry Road, Fillongley, CV7 8ET. Parking to rear of pub.

Distance: 6 miles

Terrain: Rural countryside, some short stretches on lanes. A handful of stiles. Maybe muddy in places if it has rained preceding the walk.

Refreshments: Fluids for hydration. Energy snack for a short break midway.

Bring: Hiking boots/shoes are pre-requisite as is clothing to match the weather and appropriate for climbing over stiles, as well as any other unexpected obstacles we may encounter.

Dogs are not allowed on this walk

Responsibility: As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety.

Whilst this walk is not strenuous, please ensure you have the level of fitness required to complete 6 miles at a consistent pace which will be determined by the walk leader. Each participant has sole responsibility for keeping within a visible distance of the walk leader which includes not forging ahead or excessively lagging behind the group. If you have any doubt whether you will be able to do this walk comfortably please contact the walk leader to discuss further.

Be assured that no-shows and late withdrawals are being monitored and will subsequently be removed from future events (exemptions apply at walk leader's discretion). My decision is final and I shall not be entering into any correspondence regarding this.
