Go Talk

Details

Hey Gophers!

We have two (and a half) talks lined up for our second Go talk!

Docker by Jose Donizetti
Jose is a Developer at Uken Games and they have been using/evaluating Docker for production use. He will go over some of the pros and cons of Docker as well as things to look forward to in the near future.

Abstract Data Types & Information Hiding by Michael DiBernardo

Michael is a former chair of PyCon Canada and Co-founder of shopable.tv (http://www.linkedin.com/search?search=&company=shopable%2Etv&sortCriteria=R&keepFacets=true&trk=prof-exp-company-name). He will be discussing handling and usage of abstract data type and information hiding in Go.

Go's Present Tool by Nick Presta

Nick will give a quick setup and usage guide on the go present tool to make Go presentations a breeze.

Each talk will be about 10 to 20 minutes with some question time after each. There will be time after the event to talk and swap ideas on how to use Go!

Lastly I am always looking for talk proposals. Please contact me if you think you have an interesting topic including Go.
