What we do:

Food tour, eating out, or small trips for food but mostly we eat the common dishes that are well-known in Thailand.

So, you can learn Thai food names and get more experience with local Thai food at different places like famous Thai restaurants, markets, or just local street food until you get more confidence to order food in Thai.

If you already know or fall in love with Thai food, you can join us and meet other foodies.

(It's not necessary to get only Thai food, we always enjoy eating)

Why we do:
Food is a reflection of culture and lifestyle, and our meetup is all about getting into the heart of Thai cuisine. Join us on a local food tour where you'll not only learn the names of Thai dishes but also their unique flavors. By the end of this experience, you'll have a clear idea of your favorite Thai dishes and feel confident ordering them in Thai.
I remember when my foreign friends and I hung out at a restaurant, there were so many options to choose from. There were different Thai food names, ingredients, sauces, and toppings that they were shocked and they did not know how or what to choose!

One problem is that they are not familiar with the ordering process at all. The other problem is that they don’t know each ingredient, such as all the different types of vegetables, sauce, and seasoning. Sometimes it turns out to be a weird flavor that they create, and I can see that from the surprising faces. They don’t even recognize the vocabulary on the menu, and so it gets very confusing and frustrating. Eventually, they ended up with a boring choice like fried rice or Pad Thai which is not what local Thai people really eat often.

Our meetup aims to change that. We're here to guide you through sampling a wide variety of local Thai dishes, one step at a time. Say goodbye to the pressure of ordering while others wait in line. Let's get this flavorful journey together!"

กลุ่มนี้เน้นสายกิน ร้านไหนที่ว่าอร่อย ย่านไหนดีว่าเด็ด เราจะไปตะลุยกิน ตั้งแต่ร้านอาหาร จนไปถึงร้านธรรมดาข้างทาง

จุดประสงค์ที่จัด เนื่องจากเพื่อนชาวต่างชาติเวลาที่มาไทย หลายคนยังไม่รู้จักอาหารในเชิงลึกซึ้ง ชาวต่างชาติรู้จักแค่บางอย่าง เช่น ข้าวผัด / ผัดไทย ต้มยำกุ้ง มัสมั่น ซึ่งจริง ๆ แล้ว คนไทยไม่ได้ทานเมนูพวกนั้นบ่อยขนาดนั้น ดังนั้นกลุ่มนี้จึงจัดขึ้นมาเพื่อให้เขารู้จักชื่ออาหารไทย และ ได้ทานอาหารไทยที่หลากหลายมากขึ้น จึงเป็นโอกาสดีที่เราจะได้ไปกินอาหารอร่อย ๆ ด้วยกัน และฝึกภาษาในการช่วยอธิบายอาหารเบื้องต้น ไม่มีอะไรซับซ้อน อยากกินอะไร อยากไปร้านไหน ก็ไปร้านนั้น และทานอาหารอร่อย ๆ ด้วยกัน ครับ กิจกรรมส่วนใหญ่จากกลุ่มนี้ฟรี (แต่อาจจะต้องมีค่ามัดจำเพื่อป้องกันการยกเลิกกะทันหัน)
