========== Previously published information ==============
Just when we thought the internet vocabulary test couldn't get any harder, over the past decade+, we've had to try to figure out a bunch of wild new ideas—bitcoin, blockchain, and Web3.
You're probably rightly wondering: What does it mean for me? And, more specifically, what does it mean for me as an internet professional?
MORE ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:
Patrick Quinn has 28 years of experience in internet technology (26 years in software development). He has been involved with crypto/blockchain/Web3 technologies since 2015, including having been a member of a DAO for much of that time. (A DAO is a "Decentralized Autonomous Organization"—a really important blockchain/Web3 concept.)
At previous Fort Collins-area talks (including FCIP and Ignite Fort Collins), he's been described as a "modern day freedom fighter." Believe it or not, this is relevant to his talk about "Bitcoin, Blockchain, Web3, and Me." (He'll explain!)
