AI Revolution in Design: Transforming Ecological Landscape Architecture
Details
Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping how we imagine, design, and build the world around us—and landscape architecture is no exception.
Join us on Tues, April 21, as landscape designer Patrick Padden explores how generative AI, computer vision, and immersive tools like 3D scanning and virtual reality are transforming ecological design workflows from concept to implementation.
Drawing on real-world projects, Patrick will demonstrate how AI:
- accelerates iteration
- expands creative possibility
- enables designers to visualize regenerative systems—food forests, water harvesting, microclimates, and community spaces—with unprecedented clarity and speed
Rather than replacing human intuition, AI becomes a powerful collaborator, freeing designers to focus on systems thinking, ecological intelligence, and human experience.
This talk is equal parts inspiration and practical application, offering designers, planners, and innovators a glimpse into how AI can help regenerate landscapes, restore ecosystems, and design resilient communities—one yard, neighborhood, and watershed at a time.
*This Meetup is a joint presentation by the Fort Collins Internet Pros and the NoCo AI Group. The presentation will start at 6:00pm with Q&A to follow. RSVP today!
