Golden Bitcoiners is a group of ordinary people discussing an extraordinary topic: **Bitcoin and its implications for the world**
This is not a strictly technical meetup, although there is technical discussion for whomever wants to learn. Quite honestly, although the problem of digital scarcity that bitcoin solved was once thought to be impossible, buying & storing bitcoin safely and securely is not difficult if a few key concepts are understood.
Topics tend to include:
*What the bitcoin network is.
*It's increasing importance economically and geopolitically
*How to buy & store it safely and securely.

St. Vrain is hosting this fall meetup, and there's something to celebrate: they now accept bitcoin! Come show some love to a local business that said yes to sound money — and pay for your pint in sats.
Expect a bigger crowd than usual, new faces from both ends of the turnpike (and from Golden), and good conversation over hard cider (and they have local beer).
