The Third Imperium and the Zhodani Consulate are on the verge of war. Between them lie the Sword Worlds and the Foreven, a group of systems that serve as proxies to the larger forces in conflict. With the right touch, the flames of combat or the laurels of peace are forever etched in history.

But you have no control over any of that. Pocketbook to mouth, all that matters is completing the job and getting paid enough to meet your debts. Galactic intrigue is none of your concern, so long as you can make ends meet. You have no influence over the galaxy.
