If you're a golfer in Greenville & Upstate South Carolina who appreciates the social aspect of the game, enjoys meeting new people, or wants to experience the wide variety of courses available to us in the area while improving your game, then this group is for you!
We try to plan one "main" meetup event each month while the weather and daylight allow (likely April - November) at different courses throughout upstate SC, with time to socialize afterwards for those who are interested.
To keep these events engaging and generate more participation, we may try out different golf formats and even include some goodie bags or fun contests with prizes thanks to our sponsor, the Zimpfer Travel Group with Dream Vacations. In order to keep this group free and accessible to everyone, this local, small business partnership is a great way to offset some of the Meetup hosting fees.
In between the main events, look for other ad hoc outings that get planned as availability and weather permit. We may also try to organize group participation at "special" group and social events that tend to pop up throughout the year as well.
All skill levels are welcome and mutual respect of others is required. The goal is to enjoy the game of golf and its rules, but in a fun and low-pressure environment.
