Anyone found being disrespectful will be booted. We do not tolerate drinking and driving. All event pictures will be used publicly for GVT publicity; please let the organizer know before each event if you do not want your picture taken. 🌅🥾 (Spooky) Sunset Walks: 🦆 Ducks at Live Oak Park 🥾🌅
Live Oak Park Lake Entrance , 7898 Lazy Forest Dr, Live Oak, TX, US👻🎃 October is going spooky! For the whole month we’ll be hosting special Halloween-themed hikes. Everyone is encouraged to wear costumes, bring fun lights, and share scary stories (made up or real) as we walk. We’ll also be snapping Halloween-style group photos, doing caricature drawings, and posting special animated videos to capture the vibe, so come ready for some festive fun on the trail! 🌙✨

Join us for a serene evening walk around Live Oak Main City Park’s scenic lake loop. This paved 3.4-mile route offers a relaxed pace, perfect for winding down your day.🌳 The trail meanders through shaded areas beneath mature oak trees and alongside the tranquil lake, providing opportunities to spot ducks 🦆. The peaceful ambiance and gentle breeze make it an ideal setting for a sunset stroll.
🌆 We’ll meet before sunset by the restrooms at the Lake Entrance, this should give us better parking availability. This timing allows us to enjoy cooler temperatures and the golden hues of the evening light.
All experience levels are welcome! Whether you're a seasoned walker or just looking to unwind after a busy day, this trail is perfect for everyone. Come solo, bring a friend, or make new connections. Let’s keep the Tuesday evening walking tradition going! 🌅
📍 Where: Live Oak Park Lake Entrance (7898 Lazy Forest Dr, Live Oak, TX 78233)
📍 Meeting Point: By the restrooms near the Lake entrance.

⚠️ Terrain: Mostly paved and flat
🐶 Dog Policy: Leashed dogs welcome🧢 What to Bring:
- At least 1 liter of water
- Sturdy walking shoes
- (Recommended) A flashlight or headlamp
- (Optional) 🦆 Duck food!
- Your adventurous spirit!
