Let's create the ultimate end-of-summer vibes in South Padre with a beach bonfire and the Perseids Meteor Shower.

I have a hotel room at Flamingo Inn for Thursday and Friday nights (August 13th and 14th) (2 nights) and then expect to beach primative camp Saturday night (at the end of the paved road). I am happy to share the hotel room or you can make your own accommodations (either hotel or beach camping). Join/leave whenever you want.

๐Ÿฌ South Padre Island (SPI) is a 5 hour drive. I cannot carpool, please ask others
๐Ÿฌ Beach primitive camping is very difficult and not for beginners. You must bring a toliet and waste disposal system, fresh drinking/shower water, food, wind-resistent tent, shade structure, and other necessary supplies. Primitive beaches can be unpredictable; ALWAYS check weather, wind, and tide conditions before attempting to drive on the beach (I will post them to the best of my knowledge/research). Primitive beaches can be hazardous; there may be wildlife like jellyfish, sharks, and coyotes present. If you become stuck in the sand there is a Facebook group "RGV Mud & Sand Recovery" where you can ask a local to pull your vehicle out for a cash donation.
๐Ÿฌ Dogs welcome.
๐Ÿฌ Sheridan nor GVT is responsible for accident/injury. Please undertake this activity after assessing your capacity for risk.
