Anyone found being disrespectful will be booted. We do not tolerate drinking and driving. All event pictures will be used publicly for GVT publicity; please let the organizer know before each event if you do not want your picture taken. Let’s make Tuesdays our nature reset.
Join us for a peaceful evening hike on the Cibolo Creek Primitive Trail, starting from the Universal City Disc Golf Course to avoid flood-affected areas.
🌊 Due to recent flooding, some sections are closed — but this alternate route offers a rare treat: submerged caves now visible along the way!
🥾 The trail is mostly flat, with a few rocky areas, and offers plenty of shade for a comfortable walk.🌳 We’re timing this hike to see the orange fireflies before dusk — a magical way to end the day. The trail offers a blend of dirt paths and rocky spots, with plenty of natural charm.
🌆 We’ll start at 7:15 PM, giving us enough time to enjoy the cooler temps while still catching that evening glow.All experience levels welcome! Whether you’re a regular hiker or just looking to unwind after a long day, this trail is perfect for everyone. Come solo, bring a friend, or make new connections. Let’s keep the Tuesday evening hiking tradition going! 🌅
📍 Where: Universal City Disc Golf Course (1200 Cibolo Trail, Universal City, TX 78148)
📍 Meeting Point: Trailhead sign by the Disc Golf Course parking lot
🥾 Distance: ~3 miles (out and back)
🕒 Duration: ~1.5 hour
⚠️ Terrain: Mostly flat, some rocky areas — wear proper shoes
🐶 Dog Policy: Leashed dogs welcome🧢 What to Bring:
- At least 1 liter of water
- Sturdy hiking shoes
- (Optional) A flashlight or headlamp
- Your adventurous spirit!
