Meteor Shower Watch Party on the Beach! 💫🌌🔭

🌟 Please note: location is in Central Time (CT) zone 🌟

The Perseid is the largest meteor shower in the northern hemisphere showcasing 90+ meteors per hour and what better way to watch it than from the beach! ✨

• 8pm CT / 9pm ET: Meet up
• 8:30pm CT / 9:30pm ET: Telescopes for deep sky viewing and constellation talks begin (next to the Pavilion)

Peak time to see the most meteors will be between 10pm-1am 🌠

Bring a chair, towel, bug spray, snacks, flashlights, or whatever you need and enjoy these spectacular views with us from the State Park’s beach. 💫🌌🌙
Bring a sweater or coat because it will get cold late in the evening

Entrance into the park is $7/🚗 for in-state residents or $12/🚙 for out-of-state residents.

The beach has restrooms and shower facilities ☑️
