A high-level talk on Distributed System Design focusing on principles for
building large-scale systems and overcoming faults: through design,
automation, and incident response.
The talk is divided into four sections:
- Architectural principles
- Fault Handling
- Service Management and Monitoring
- SRE Role
Attendees can expect to learn battle-tested principles for designing
large-scale systems with an emphasis on efficient handling of the most
common types of failures.
The presentation will be 30 minutes, followed by a Q&A and then a social hour with other Google SREs.
