Friday Night Racing at South Beach Yacht Club

We are starting a recruitment/training program for new crew talent for our racing team for next years Friday Night Racing Series (and possibly Saturday YRA races). Looking for a few good racing crew who can commit to a season of racing schedule on a winning 30-foot sailboat (mixed male and female crew).

If you are interested in taking your sailing/racing skills to another level beyond what sailing school teaches, this is the perfect opportunity to join Heart of Gold racing program. You will learn the finer points of racing and how to work together as part of a sailing team. You will refine your sailing trim skills and how to work more efficiently with your teammates. The race venue is at the South Beach Yacht Club on Friday Nights with dock time at 5:45 PM. This is a season commitment, not just a one time sail. If you live close to SF and can get to the South Beach Harbor before 5:45 on Friday's, this is a great way to start your weekend with a sunset sail against the city skyline. Serious applicants only, as developing a cohesive racing crew takes time and teamwork.
