What we're about

Calling all outdoor fitness enthusiasts in the greater Clearwater area! What better way to enjoy our beautiful community, stay in shape, and make like-minded friends than participating in group walks? Given our abundance of incredible parks, the Pinellas Trail, miles of beaches, and walk-friendly communities, we have a lot of ground to cover as a group. Join us for healthy fun and camaraderie!

This group is for walkers in the Clearwater area who are able to participate in three- to six-mile walks. Of course, it's highly recommended that you check with your doctor before starting this or any other fitness program. Individual group members are responsible for their own health and safety.

No worries if you are a "stroller" or a "power walker"-- there are bound to be others in the group who match your pace. With the size of our group, we tend to separate into smaller packs that match our paces which is a great way to get to know a few people better too.

So, check the Calendar and join us for our next walking event!

If you sign up to go and change your plans, please be courteous and cancel.

Hope to see you there.

Safety Harbor Sunset Walk

Safety Harbor Resort and Spa

Join us on a 4 mile scenic walk along the lovely Safety Harbor waterfront beginning at the Safety Harbor Spa. The pace ranges from medium to brisk and mingling is encouraged. Enjoy bay breezes, wildlife sightings, inspiration and socializing with friends!

In the spring and summer, we walk north into Philippe Park to enjoy it's shade trees. In the fall and winter, we walk south towards the Ream Wilson trail.

After the walk, some of us cool down and hang out in the marina and share beverages and light snacks by the picnic tables.

Free parking available on public streets surrounding the spa & pier (1 block S of spa). Restrooms and water are available in the spa and the marina.

*** Please be considerate & update your RSVP if not coming.

Ream Wilson Trail

Northeast Coachman Park

Please join us on the Ream Wilson walk -- for many of us, it's our favorite trail.

START LOCATION: NORTHEAST COACHMAN PARK
From there, we'll take the Ream Wilson Trail for a walk along mostly shaded trails with some inclines to keep you working! This is a peaceful trail, and a great walk since it offers shade from our strong sun. We take the Kapok Spur too and walk the boardwalk. Total estimated miles: 4, 5 or 6 (you decide)

Directions: From US Hwy 19, go west on 590/NE Coachman Road. Then turn left on Old Coachman. Just ahead on your right, you'll see the parking lot entrance. This is a disc golf park so you may see that on the entrance sign too.

Hope you join us!
