Tree Root Park & Himes Breakfast House
Details
Join us for an unusual walking adventure! We will be hiking at what I call the "tree root park" because of the many trees that have exposed root systems. We will walk approximately four miles on paved and unpaved trails -- this has hills!
There are many parking lots within this park, but we will meet at the parking lot at the end of Alligator Alley (near shelter 14 and the boat ramp). If you enter the park on Edward Medard Parkway, Alligator Alley is the second right.
If you want to join us for breakfast afterward, we're going to the famous Himes Breakfast House!
Note: there is a $2 park fee per car with up to eight people
