📅 Agenda

🕕 17:45 Networking
Let’s grab a bite and catch up 🥤🍪

🕕 18:00 Talks

➡️ Arek Ziobrowski: Decoding the improvements in Go 1.25 JSON v2 package

The standard encoding/json package has served Go well for over a decade, but time has revealed its limitations in both performance and flexibility. In this talk, we will delve into the long-awaited improvements introduced in the experimental encoding/json/v2 package introduced in Go 1.25. We will go through the new features, performance optimizations, and how this update addresses the friction points of the original package.

🕖 19:00 🍽️🥤 It's food time and while refueling our energy let's take another chance to chat with your fellow gopher!

➡️ Shaharia Azam: Architecting Agentic RAG in Go: Building HelloFresh’s Internal AI Platform

We are past the era of simple chatbots. At HelloFresh, we rely on Applied AI to unblock our engineers—moving from basic retrieval to Agentic RAG, where networks of autonomous micro-agents plan, use tools, and debug complex internal problems. While the industry defaults to Python for agents, we took a different path: we built our entire agentic ecosystem—from reasoning loops to knowledge ingestion—natively in Golang. In this talk, I will share how we architected a distributed, production-grade AI platform using Go microservices. We treat 3rd-party LLMs purely as inference engines, while Golang handles the real complexity: managing multi-agent coordination, massive concurrent ingestion pipelines, and stateful tool execution.
We will dive into the technical design of our distinct services—specifically the high-throughput Ingestion Service and the Micro-Agent Service. Learn how this Go-centric approach enabled us to build an internal “No-Code Agent Builder,” allowing domain teams to deploy their own agents that serve streaming, real-time answers at scale.
