Introduction:

Are you a tech professional currently working in the mobile application space? Whether you are a beginner or expert Android/iOS engineer, Mobile Product Manager or App UX/UI designer, looking to optimise and scale your existing native apps, do join us on Thursday 25th August 2016, for an intimate evening with our rock star mobile engineer, Hugh, coming all the way from Grab's Seattle R&D center to share his mobile kung-fu with the tech start-ups in Singapore.

Hugh Vidos is an iOS engineer at Grab working to make ride hailing safer and more convenient for everyone. He has previously worked on iOS apps at HBO, Catchpoint, Disney, Google and Microsoft. In his free time he enjoys skiing, biking and watching soccer.

Desmond Ng is an Android Engineer at Grab who has worked extensively on the Passenger app that is used by more than 10million people around Southeast Asia today. He started to work on Android 3 years ago because all his friends were iOS Engineers and he wanted to be different.

Format:

Two (2) short Presentations and a demo followed by ~20 minutes of audience Q&A for a total of ~one and a half (1.5) hours.
