This Grafana & Friends meetup group hosts events focused on open source monitoring and observability using Grafana and related technologies. Some meetups feature formal presentations, while others are more relaxed and discussion-driven. Every event is designed to encourage learning, connection, and community. 📋 Au programme :

🎙️ « Un dashboard, mille contextes », présenté par Yaëlle Chaudy - Senior Manager Engineering chez Grafana Labs.
Filtres, variables multi-properties, variables déclarées au niveau instance/dossier/dashboard/section: comment utiliser ces nouvelles fonctionnalités pour construire un seul dashboard qui sert à toute l’équipe, au lieu de dix copies qui divergent.
Démos et cas pratiques inclus.

🎙️ « Grafana as Code : on a testé tous les patterns, on vous donne celui qui fonctionne et nos bonnes pratiques. » par Arthur Caldeireiro et Kevin Andrieux - SRE/DevOps Engineers chez Lenstra.
Un dashboard modifié à la main un vendredi soir. Un JSON de 200 lignes illisible en review. Un export depuis l'UI qui décale tous les IDs de panels. Un copier-coller entre environnements avec des UID codés en dur. On connaît tous ce scénario.
Le templatefile() en Terraform règle la duplication, mais on reste coincé avec un JSON qu'on triture à coups de chaînes de caractères : aucune validation, aucune vraie abstraction.
Chez Lenstra, on a construit autre chose : un pattern qui pilote entièrement datasources et dashboards Grafana depuis Terraform, avec une structure claire plutôt que du JSON brut ou templaté. Dans ce talk, Kevin et Arthur racontent comment on est passés de la souris au terraform apply, les pièges rencontrés en chemin, et ce qu'on a fini par retenir.
