What we’re about
This Grafana & Friends meetup group hosts regular events centered on open source monitoring and observability with Grafana and complementary technologies. Some events feature presentations, while some are more laid back and meant to foster group discussion. Either way, there will be snacks and stickers!
We’re always looking for speakers and hosts! Fill out this form (https://grafana-labs.typeform.com/community) and we’ll reach out to you about presenting or hosting. Or, if you're interested in becoming an organizer, let us know here: https://grafana-labs.typeform.com/to/sdthBGek?typeform-source=grafana.com
If you have a technical question, check out our support forums. We also have a community slack workspace where you can connect with the Grafana community on a variety of increasingly specific topics.
All events hosted by this group and communication on this platform are subject to Grafana Labs' Events Code of Conduct: https://grafana.com/events/events-code-of-conduct/

Get ready for an exciting event with Grafana & Friends Pune: Happy Hours! Grafana Labs is all set to host its next happy hour in Pune in collaboration with InfraCloud Technologies. This session will bring together industry experts to discuss the latest trends and advancements in monitoring, observability, dashboarding, and much more.
Agenda:
Here's the detailed agenda of the meetup :- 10:15 am- 10:30 am - Intro and Welcome
- 10:30 am- 11:15 am:
Session 1: 'eBPF-Powered Observability: Unlocking Deeper Insights with Cilium, Istio & Grafana' by Sarvadnya Jawle (DevOps Engineer at Global Mobility Services)
About Session: I’ll talk about why gaining rich connectivity observability for modern cloud native workloads has traditionally been extremely challenging, and how eBPF, an exciting new innovation in the Linux kernel led by the Isovalent team, has enabled a fundamentally better approach. We’ll talk about how the eBPF-powered Cilium project has risen to become the new de facto standard for secure and observable connectivity within Kubernetes environments and dig into several concrete examples of how the combination of Cilium’s rich connectivity observability data with Grafana Labs’ LGTM (Loki for logs, Grafana for visualization, Tempo for traces, Mimir for metrics) open source observability stack represents a major step forward in capability and simplicity for application owners and Kubernetes platform teams. - 11:15 am - 12:00 pm:
Session 2: 'Enabling Unified Visibility Across Multi-Cloud Universe' by Farista Singh (Senior SRE at InfraCloud Technologies)
About Session: In this session, we’ll explore how to build a comprehensive observability platform using Go-based APIs, Cloud Build automation, and Grafana dashboards. The platform provides real-time visibility into infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and Azure, capturing key data such as running VMs, Docker images, public IPs, and the health status of critical components like Kafka and Yugabyte. Attendees will learn how this setup helps teams detect configuration mismatches, validate environment consistency, and troubleshoot deployment issues more efficiently. - 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm:
Networking, and Snacks
Note: This is an in-person event; no recordings will be available post-event.
We look forward to meeting you in person for a morning filled with insightful sessions, networking, and shared experiences! For any questions or to express interest in future speaking opportunities, please contact the organizers.
