N89ers Ride - Five & Dime

Details

Join the N89ers for a scenic ride on both sides of the Connecticut River.

This 21 mile route goes north in Vermont on US-5 and returns south on NH-10, hence the name “Five and Dime.” Instead of using NH-10 all the way back we will start south by riding on scenic River Road along the Connecticut River.

We will have a store and porta-pot stop about half way through the ride and will stop again somewhere on River Road. This ride is not too hilly, but does have a grind up to NH-10 from River Road and another climb on the famous Chieftain Hill just before the end.

** Caution - there are 2 crossings of RR tracks at a bad angle - be careful!

Bring snacks and water to refresh yourself at regroup spots.

Please arrive early to get your bike ready and meet other riders.

This is a no drop ride at a 10-12 mph average ride pace and 12-14 mph level ground rolling speed. While the ride is considered "no drop," riders are expected to make a reasonable effort to maintain the published pace to avoid significantly disrupting the group flow.

Park at Garipay Field, Reservoir Rd, Hanover, NH.

Ride departs at 9:00 AM.
