Discuss Euripides's famous play, "Iphigeneia at Aulis"

Details

Join the fun as we discuss Euripides's "Iphigeneia at Aulis."

This is an ancient Greek play about Agamemnon, a Greek general, and his decision to sacrifice his daughter, Iphigenia, to appease the goddess Artemis. Artemis is withholding the winds to sail Agamemnon's fleet of ships into battle because he had offended the goddess.

With such an intriguing plot, we should have a lively discussion.

The library has two copies of the book that we use, The Adult Great Books Program - Second Series, Volume 1. Or you can get any book by Euripides that has the play.
