Australian abseiling(also known as Australian rappelling, Rap Jumping or deepelling) is the process of descending a fixed rope in a standing position while facing the ground. The technique is used as a military 'assault' technique whereby a soldier is belayed, allowing them to face down the descent and fire a weapon.
Instructions:
Wear full sleeve Tshirts and Sports Track Pants
Wear Trekking or Sports Shoes (scrambling and rock climbing, so ma ke sure ur shoes are proper and have good grip)
Cap / Hat / Bandana for protecting from the heat
Carry along a minimum of 2 Litres of water
Fruit juice, Fruits, chocolate, small eats, etc
The organiser has a basic medical kit for bruises and cuts, However, please carry any medication that you
need in particular

RSVP Rules
We have some members who just RSVP "Yes" for a meetup and
never show up. You are blocking a place and preventing
another member a good opportunity to participate in the event.
Please respect the organizers time and efforts and cooperate. Do not do RSVP with a 'Yes' if you are not sure about attending. If you have a valid reason for not attending please inform the organizer 24 hours before the commencement of the trek and remove your RSVP.
Its Compulsory to carry the Disclaimer form duly signed and deposit the same with the event Host, before the start of the activity. All GHAC meetup guidelines mentioned on the meetup site apply.
Cost for meetup:Rs 200/person
Print and Sign the dsclaimer without which , you cannot take part in the event
