Journey Of a Lifetime - Trip to Leh-Ladakh-Kargil-Srinagar
Ladakh a word which means "land of high passes", is a region in Jammu and Kashmir of Northern India sandwiched between the Karakoram mountain range to the north and the Himalayas to the south. The Indian portion of Ladakh is composed of the Leh and Kargil districts. The Leh district is the largest district of India. ==================================================================== How to Join: Make the initial payment of Rs 5000 (Non Refundable) to book your slot using the below link: Remaining 22000 can be paid in 2 installments ==================================================================== COST : 27000 Itinerary: Day1(July 13): 5PM from Delhi to Manali Day 2(July 14): Reach Manali. Shopping and visiting old manali. Overnight stay at Manali Day 3(July 15): Manali to sarchu After breakfast, start the journey to Sarchu via Rohtang Pass (3978 m) & Baralacha Pass (4890 m). Overnight stay at Sarchu (Border of Himachal & Jammu-Kashmir) Day 4(July 16): Sarchu to Leh After breakfast, proceed to Leh via Namkeela, Lachangla Pass (16,617 feet) & Skyangchu Thang (Biggest & Highest plateau in the world of around 42 km) and Pang. Admire the beautiful scenic journey on the Manali Leh Highway (most beautiful in the world). Cross the Taglangla Pass and travel through the scenic Indus Valley. Reach Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh Day 5(July 17): Leh to Pangong Lake After breakfast, sightseeing places like Shey, Thiksey, Hemis and Sindhu Ghat and then proceed to Pangong via Changla Pass (17,586 feet) and the third highest in the world. Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots” & enjoy outing along the banks of the lake. One really feels very close to nature at Pangong Lake with its scenic surroundings. On a clear sunny day, you can see seven colour formations in the crystal clear salt water lake. Overnight stay in Pangong Day 6(July 18): Pangong to Nubra After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (Known as the Valley of Flowers and the warmest region in Ladakh) via Khardungla pass. This road is considered to be the highest motorable road of the world. En route, admire the spectacular views of the never ending snow-capped mountain ranges around Khardungla Pass (18,390 feet) After spending some time at Khardungla, proceed to Nubra. After Hotel check-in, enjoy camel Safari in the evening. Overnight stay in sumoor Day 7 (July 19): Sumoor to Leh After breakfast, visit Diskit & Hunder Villages and monasteries take a stroll around the place to see the life style of people living at the northernmost region of India. Drive back to leh via Khardungla pass. Visit Hall of Fame (A Museum constructed and maintained by the Indian Army) in the afternoon. Overnight Stay in Leh Day 8 (July 20): Leh to Sonmarg After breakfast, proceed to Kargil. En route, visit Gurudwara Patthar Saheb, Magnetic Hill, Lamayuru (The oldest monastery in Ladakh) and Mulbek (known for its huge Buddha Statue). En route, visit the Kargil War memorial in Drass and Zozilla War memorial to pay tribute to the Indian Army. It was in this very region in which the Indian Army fought and won the famous war of Kargil. Take some memorable snaps of Tololing, Tiger Hill and the war memorial. Cross the Zozilla pass and reach Sonmarg (Known as gateway to Ladakh & the Meadow of Gold). Day 9 (July 21): Sonmarg to Srinagar After breakfast, proceed to Srinagar. One can enjoy a pony ride to Thajiwas glacier. Reach Srinagar in the evening. The meetup ends on Saturday Evening. Day 10 (July 22): Buffer day - Book the stay in Srinagar accordingly on Saturday - We can help suggesting you good places. Book return tickets on this day Important Instructions participants: a. Reach the station on time. b. No alcohol and No smoking. c. Strictly No quarrels, calling Nicknames, getting personal or making jokes about anybody d. No anti social, deviant or unacceptable social behavior e. Maintain Discipline and follow the organiser's instructions. Organiser's word is final. * Great Hyderabad Adventure Club - GHAC is the Trekking and Adventure Club of Hyderabad that caters to Hiking, Trekking Adventure and Outdoor Adventure Activities all over India. we also conduct Bird Watching and Adventure sports like Bouldering, Rock climbing, Rappelling, Paragliding and White Water Rafting.

GHAC is registered with Govt of India as a Not for Profit Adventure Club and is affiliated to the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF). The Club is open to all and run by trained and experienced professionals and volunteers.

GHAC has been mentioned into the Limca Books of records -2013. The club is growing and is the most active adventure club in India by the sheer number of adventure activities the club does all round the year

* The Club Membership is free and open to everyone above 18 years. Young members above 13 years may participate with parental consent. Children above 6 and upto 12 years may participate along with parents only.

* Safety is priority for us - Our Outdoor Leaders are trained and certified in their respective fields and know first aid and emergency handling. They have significant experience with outdoor activities and work very hard to make each event a safe and enjoyable experience.
