Join us for a 5 or 10 km walk starting at Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre

Meet at Juan de Fuca Rec Centre, 1767 Island Hwy, Victoria BC V9B 1J1. Registration opens at 9:30 am and closes at 9:55 am. The walk begins at 10:00 a.m.

The 5-km route takes you through the grounds of Royal Roads University, Charlie’s Trail, portions of the Galloping Goose, and residential areas of Belmont Park. Walkers will pass Hatley Castle and may see peacocks along the way. The waterfall on Charlie's Trail can be spectacular after a rain.

The 10-km route includes panoramic ocean views, the waterfall on Charlie’s Trail, Hatley Castle, and the forest trails of Royal Roads University. We will also walk through Hatley Castle Gardens, which are in bloom right now.

Regular walkers do not necessarily indicate their attendance on Meetup, but our weekday walks typically attract 10 to 12 people; on weekends typical attendance is between 15 and 40 people.

New walkers are always welcome.
