Join us for a 5 or 10 km walk and picnic at Beaver Lake Park

SATURDAY, JULY 12 – 5/10 km Map Walk & Picnic: Meet at Beaver Lake Main Parking Lot, Elk Lake V82 6K2. Registration, in the picnic area between the parking lot and the lake, opens at 9:30 am and closes at 9:55 am. Walk begins at 10:00 am.

Come and enjoy a lovely rural walk and picnic on a summer's day! Explore the trails in Beaver Lake Park and the 10 km route also takes in Glendale Trails and Quick's Bottom. Both routes are rated 2B. (Click here for an explanation of walk ratings.) Bring a picnic lunch and a chair. The club will provide watermelon and water.

Regular walkers do not necessarily indicate their attendance on Meetup, but our weekday walks typically attract 10 to 12 people; on weekends typical attendance is between 15 and 40 people.

New walkers are always welcome.
